Hôtel de Roaldès
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
The Hôtel de Roaldès is known as Henry IV's house because the King of Navarre is said to have stayed here during the siege of 1580. It was built in the late 15C and restored in 1912. Its north façade is decorated with roses, flamboyant suns and pollarded trees (cut down to their trunks) - typical features of early 16C Quercy sculpture. The half-timbered south façade has a balcony and is flanked by a large round tower.
