These gardens occupy close to 1 100ha/2 718 acres of land at the western tip of Lake Ontario. Although the majority of it has been left in its natural state, several gardens have been created here: the Mediterranean garden, the Laking garden with its perennial plants and flowers, the rock garden, and the lilac garden.
