Commanding a picturesque view of Blue Mountain Lake, this 13ha complex of historical buildings, galleries and exhibit halls explores every aspect of the region's history. The grounds provide fine examples of wood-based Adirondack architecture, such as the rustic Bull Cottage. One section is entirely devoted to the water-based modes of transport developed in the mid-19C to get around the Adirondacks with their untamed nature.
