De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This defensive and residential tower is named after Erik Rosenkrantz, governor of Bergen Castle c 1560 and was built by the Scots alongside a keep dating from 1270. On the side of the city, the building boasts a Renaissance façade crowned by a domed tower. The Chapel of King Magnus Lagabøte (the Law-Mender) is on the second floor of the keep. The king's chamber above became an elegant reception hall in the 17C. The battlements command a fine view over the town.
