Opposite the Channel Islands, Carteret headland is greatly appreciated by walkers for its pristine landscapes. From Carteret beach, the Customs' Path (Sentier des Douaniers) skirts the headland, embracing wonderful views that stretch as far as the beach of Vieille-Église, home to the splendid dunes of Hatainville and Baubigny.
