Perched on top of Flagstaff Hill, the museum protects the rutted tracks of the Oregon Trail, along which over 400 000 pioneers travelled west between 1842 and 1869. Interactive exhibitions and life-size displays recall the trials and tribulations faced by pioneers during their journey. A 4mi discovery path enables visitors to explore the centre independently.
