Covering an area of over 780ha, St George Island Park offers a landscape of tall dunes dotted with sea oats and sparkling white sand beaches stretching for 15km. Boardwalks and hiking trails pass through marshes, pine forests and clusters of oak inhabited by an abundance of migratory birds, osprey, snow plover and diamondback terrapins. The waters of the gulf and bay are full of fish.
