The Burmali Minare Camii (1247) is easily recognisable by its superb minaret decorated with twisted spiral stonework (burmali is the Turkish for twisted). With the mountain as a backdrop, the mosque and its honey-coloured stone mausoleum combine to create a delightful scene.
