The culture of New Mexico's 19 Pueblo communities is showcased at this important non-profit centre. The museum traces the history of these communities, as well housing handicraft exhibits which demonstrate the diversity of motifs and styles used by each of the communities. Visitors can also admire these varied styles in the large handicraft shop (more expensive than in the villages). A restaurant serves Native American and local cuisine and, at weekends, traditional dance shows take place here.
