Dominated by the proud mass of the volcano, Lake Akan, to the west of the national park, is home to magnificent flora and fauna and offers unforgettable walks. Numerous boats set off from Akan-kohan around its 26km circumference, to explore its treasures. Anglers can go fly fishing along the shores, as the waters of the lake are shallow and have an abundance of fish.
