This 16C castle built to a Z-shape floor plan was the seat of Clan Menzies until the principal line died out in the early 20C. In 1959, the Menzies Clan Society bought the building and has embarked on a restoration programme since 1971. Two attractive moulded ceilings are particularly worthy of note.
