Þórsmörk Nature Reserve offers walks of various lengths and levels of difficulty, beginning at the volcano huts. Leaving from Langidalur and Húsadalur huts, a path (allow approximately 1hr, accessible to all levels) climbs to the summit of Valahnúkur (465m), from where the panoramic view over Þorsmörk is remarkable.
