Bar Allegro, from the team behind the wildly popular Bar Pompette, is a European-leaning aperitivo and wine bar with Italian and Spanish small plates. The cooking is often playful, as in a "deviled egg" that bucks tradition as medium-boiled coated in mayonnaise and finished with chili crisp. Sweet and spicy nuts, mussels, chicken skewers, crudos and tartares are also all on offer, but don't skip the beef Bourguignon, enriched with bone marrow and presented inside the marrow with small potato buns on the side for building bites.
