It was here, in 1895, that Luigi Lavazza opened a grocer’s shop and immediately began blending coffee. Today, the same establishment is home to a contemporary restaurant, led by a chef from Le Marche who offers one of the city’s most convincing interpretations of Piedmontese gastronomy, enriched by a creative touch. The menu showcases Piedmontese and Italian traditions through a well-balanced selection of dishes, which reinterprets the flavours of the past with a contemporary sensitivity, offering a convivial and authentic dining experience. The wine list is also very interesting, organised according to a colour-coded system that identifies the different types – from ‘voluptuous’ to ‘purple’, from ‘luminous’ to ‘veiled’ – a sophisticated approach that invites you to explore and choose the ideal pairing for each palate and occasion.
