Tucked away in one of Sliema’s quiet side streets, this small restaurant has become something of a beacon for fine dining in Malta. The cuisine is showcased through two tasting menus of five or seven courses, while the dishes evolve with the seasons. Our Inspector particularly enjoyed the house-made agnolotti filled with pecorino, served with Delica pumpkin, pine nuts and mostarda di Cremona, as well as the seabass escalope with leeks, preserved lemon, capers and kombu seaweed. Seamless, attentive service and an excellent wine list, featuring over 700 labels and numerous by-the-glass options, including premium vintages, provide the finishing touches to a refined dining experience.
