After the relocation to Shinsa dong, securing a seat at this pilgrimage spot for meat lovers now requires even more patience. The name Imok comes from a small vegetable garden in Imok-ri Suwon, which is also the heart of Yoo Yong Wook BBQ Lab. The menu is composed of fixed course meals, all of which include the signature dish. Its fragrant and succulent offerings include thick-cut bacon smoked for eight hours before being glazed with maple syrup, and beef ribs smoked over oakwood for four hours. Its galbi ramyeon, made with ribs simmered into a robust, spicy broth, is perfectly balanced in flavor. The food pairs well with both beer and whisky.
