Guests are made to feel very much at home in this comfortable and cheerfully decorated house dating back to the mid-19C! French chef Patrick Gazeau is a true culinary artisan who does everything himself. His cuisine is classic, colourful and tasty (eg fillet of pike-perch from the Alps, saffron emulsion with candied Sicilian lemon). He draws heavily on local produce (in particular the cheeses made by his son, a breeder and producer) and gives pride of place to the flowers and herbs of the Vaud mountain pastures. In the dining room, his wife provides the perfect foil for her talented husband.
