This inviting coaching inn (from 1850) not far from Mulhouse occupies an imposing traditional Alsace building in the centre of the village. In an elegant space done out in a plush, opulent style, the chef serves seasonal cuisine with a contemporary bent, such as slow-cooked egg with peas and a creamy soup made with their pods, or lamb cooked two ways, accompanied by hummus with French curry.
