In the heart of Pavia’s old pedestrian centre, precisely in the piazza where linen was once traded, this new restaurant shares its entrance with its more distinguished “elder brother”, the fine dining restaurant Lino. In fact, although now the younger sibling, it was the first step of the project, which subsequently evolved into the fine dining establishment. The spaces, which once housed a bank and later a bookshop, have been transformed into a welcoming venue where honest and immediate cuisine is proposed, carefully presented and faithful to pleasing simplicity. The menu features dishes of clear flavour and sound construction, such as house-made gnocchi with Nerano sauce and shavings of Provolone del Monaco, cod with creamed rapini and Taggiasca olives, or an indulgent tiramisù with cream, salted cocoa crumble, coffee-soaked savoiardi and chocolate sauce.
