In France in the Middle Ages, a vantre was a "place of enjoyment", and this neo-bistro devoted to culinary pleasure certainly lives up to the name. A former sommelier (at Le Bristol, Le Taillevent) and his chef serve fine dining cuisine prepared using carefully selected ingredients. Every dish delivers on both flavour and presentation, a case in point being the free-range pork filet mignon with a beetroot medley, lemon balm and wholegrain mustard sauce.
