A chef whose skills were honed in Italian restaurants works alongside an affable owner-sommelier. Delicate, seasonal dishes are paired with wines from around the world. The food is presented with evident enthusiasm, born of a desire to convey the dedication of the producers behind it. Designed by Tadao Ando, the modern exposed-concrete space looks out over the gently flowing Okawa River.
