Hiding inside the Cherry Lane Theatre, find this small bijou where dimmed globe lights cast an amber veil across a curved bar, tiled flooring and handsome green banquettes. As one might expect from the team behind Frenchette, the roving menu tempts in several directions. A pristine raw bar selection leads into appetizers like steak tartare, croque monsieur and a particularly impressive fried frog legs with garlic butter. Some tables go right for the cheeseburger. Either way, end with a handsome swirl of frozen custard or perhaps another round of cocktails. Be warned that seating is limited and reservations are scarce.
