This tiny bistro is adorned with paintings and knick-knacks, as well as a bear costume from the Paris Opera House. At lunchtime, chef Céline Mingam (formerly at Le Galoubet in Arles) crafts punchy, market-inspired daily specials that are chalked up on the slate: poached egg, carrots, carrot emulsion and seed crackers; poultry, velvety mash, braised and caramelised Belgian endive, orange segments and condensed orange jus; poached pear, star anise ganache and granola. Fresh, flavourful, flawless quality and deftly crafted. More ambitious and equally tempting menu in the evening. Reasonable prices and slick seamless service.
