Even over 25 years after it opened, Vinaiolo continues to bring a slice of la dolce vita to Haidhausen. A charming team provides seamless, attentive service, with a spirit that is tipicamente italiano. The food, too, is Italian: for example, pumpkin risotto with Tuscan pecorino cream or pink-roasted tuna, broccoli, Taggiasca olive tapenade and sun-dried tomatoes. In the evening, there is a set menu and à la carte dishes to choose from. Lunchtime brings tempting options in the form of a reasonably priced set menu written on the board. The wine list features a very appealing selection of Italian wines. The cosy, authentic atmosphere is accentuated by furnishings salvaged from a Trieste grocer's shop dating back to 1904!
