The owners are having a little fun with the name of this restaurant, which, although centrally located not far from the Deutsches Museum, is somewhat tucked away. The pleasingly laid-back, modern and unpretentious vibe allows the cuisine to take centre stage. Led by head chef Dominik Käppeler, the kitchen team serves up elaborate cuisine that abounds with contrasts, meaning there is never a dull moment, with dishes such as "prawns, chanterelles, fennel, plum". The surprise menu comprising six to eight courses and based on top-notch ingredients rotates every two weeks. This is complemented by urban-style decor and attentive, relaxed service – interesting wine recommendations are also part of the package.
