Adjacent to the church of Santa Maria della Pomposa, which is one of Modena’s oldest religious buildings, this elegant restaurant occupies a historic palazzo and welcomes guests into modern, pared-back interiors enriched by contemporary works on the walls and a deliberately intimate capacity of just nine tables. The gastronomic offering unfolds across several tasting menus: one dedicated to the great recipes of Emilian tradition, from tortellini in capon broth to tagliatelle with Modenese ragù; the "Alla Brace" menu, which celebrates cooking over live fire and is renewed in line with the seasons; and "Espressione", the ten-course signature menu that represents the most complete synthesis of the chef's cuisine. These are complemented by an à la carte selection gathering some of the most emblematic dishes in the restaurant's history.
