As well as tasteful, individually designed guestrooms, Hotel Arlberg is home to this elegant restaurant, which is accessed via a separate entrance. Ornate details such as warm wood finishings, a partially painted ceiling, stylish upholstered armchairs and classic-style wall lamps create a wonderful atmosphere, which is complemented by experienced and attentive service. Then there is the Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine, which they dub "Monte e Mare". The tasting menu, comprising five to eight courses, also comes in a vegetarian version. One outstanding dish is the tender, juicy lobster medallion in a courgette "coat", accompanied by an aromatic blood orange gelée and a vadouvan foam that harmonises perfectly with notes of Indian spice. The fantastic wine list, which is predominantly Austrian, Italian and French, includes over 1 000 labels, with around 15 000 bottles stored in the cellar.
