When a three-Michelin-star chef makes a move, they often have immediate success – and this certainly seems to be the case for Ana Roš’s new restaurant situated right in the centre of Ljubljana. Jaz by Ana Roš is a welcoming, contemporary-style bistro with a young and lively atmosphere, which serves tasty, fun cuisine with a Mediterranean and occasionally Italian flavour, such as in the ceviche of Adriatic white fish with sauerkraut, pomegranate, sweet potato and puffed buckwheat, and the delicious focaccia with oyster mayonnaise, sardines, and tomato and basil salad. There’s a choice of cocktails and excellent wines (also by the glass) to accompany your meal.
