Gion Rakumi is an à la carte kappo restaurant run by Gion Sasaki. Its name reflects its motto, ‘delicious, fun flavours’. The young cooks, who also hone their skills at Gion Sasaki, learn from and challenge one another. The menu features seasonal dishes devised by each of them. Guests choose from ingredients displayed in a wooden box and have them cooked in their preferred way.
