In the centre of this village right on the German Wine Route, this traditional inn at the foot of Landeck Castle is now run by the fifth generation of the same family, with two sisters breathing new life into the place. Christine Baumann presides in the kitchen, putting a Latin-American spin on Palatinate cuisine; Franziska Baumann provides friendly service. There is a short à la carte menu, from which you can also put together a three- or four-course meal. Regional wines accompany the seasonal cuisine. The appealingly modern, minimalist design successfully incorporates exposed old sandstone walls and wooden ceiling beams.
