In this historic setting, this attractive restaurant with low exposed brick ceilings serves just one tasting menu (guests can choose the number of courses they want), which is available online but not in the dining room itself. The cuisine is rooted in local traditions yet reinterpreted with a contemporary twist by the chef, who skilfully introduces bitter flavours such as chocolate and coffee into savoury dishes. In summer, meals are served outdoors in the grounds surrounding the old building – an oasis of tranquillity which also includes a convenient car park.
