This stately stone manor is aptly named. Inside, a certain Scandinavian simplicity reigns – with exposed stone walls, light oak tables and grey upholstered chairs. This is the first venture of a young couple of professionals who honed their skills in starred establishments: Mickaël Marcoux in the kitchen and Marie-Jeanne Rault in the front of house. Playing on the full spectrum of textures, the dishes showcase savvy combinations (green asparagus, buckwheat, smoked pike roe and wild garlic sabayon) and punchy flavours (stuffed morels, fregola risotto, vin jaune emulsion).
