Behind the doors of this place that looks like something straight out of a picture book, dine in the pretty, wood-panelled space that oozes rustic charm – or on the gorgeous terrace. Gaby and Alexander Struth are the third generation to take the helm of this family business: she oversees the friendly service; he takes care of the cooking. The menu ranges from Austrian classics including Wiener schnitzel, Tafelspitz (prime boiled beef) and Schlutzkrapfen (mezzelune pasta) to fresh pasta dishes and Asian specialities such as spicy Thai soup and Indian butter chicken. Then there is the freshly caught fish from nearby waters! You can also spend the night in one of their well-kept guestrooms.
