The Grom brothers run their restaurant right in the centre of this small town – Jason in the kitchen, Niklas front of house. As sommelier, Niklas contributes to the expert service with astute recommendations from the impressive wine list. Jason Grom's ambitious modern dishes are served as a five- to seven-course set menu (classic and vegetarian) – tempting options include creamy Parmigiano Reggiano ravioli with grilled leek and rum-soaked raisins. Characterised by premium materials and chic, minimalist design, the decor reflects the owners' enthusiasm for wine. An alternative eatery, "burg - gasthaus" serves à la carte classics such as Zwiebelrostbraten (braised beef with onions and gravy) and Wiener schnitzel, as well as charcoal-grilled dry-aged cuts of meat from the neighbouring farm (Leimgrabenhof). Weinba(a)r, which is open in the evening for bar food and burgers, regional classics and specials from the grill, is another good option.
