Located in the heart of the Ribeiro wine region, this restaurant bearing the name of a winery occupying an 18C manor house surrounded by vineyards, comes as a pleasant surprise, courtesy of its contemporary cuisine with a local flavour enhanced by touches from further afield. The à la carte is complemented by two tasting menus, one entitled Floración (7 courses), the other Envero (9 courses), both with a wine-pairing option. We can highly recommend the sea urchin and red prawn dish, with its focus on top-quality ingredients, as well as the more traditional combo of egg with fried pig’s ear and smoked potato parmentier.
