This dining room is simple and rustic, with lotus motifs, peach-wood screens and Buddhist sutras on the book shelves. It is said that after converting to veganism and then going on to become a monk, the founder of this chain experienced improvements to his life; and therefore his restaurants keep making tasty vegetarian dishes without eggs, alcohol and aromatics like garlic and onion. Stir-fried winged beans are especially good, and spicy dishes have a kick.
