Jidori roughly translates as ‘premium chicken’. In a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, the signature chicken skewer menu is available in 5, 8 or 10 courses. The chef masterfully uses a range of chicken parts to conjure up different flavours and textures and adds salt throughout the process which enhances the underlying smoky complexity. Save room for the homemade Japanese Ken custard – a decadent caramel dessert that manages to avoid the cloyingly sweet trap.
