The menu here traverses India, offering everything from street snacks to royal palace fare, although the emphasis is very much on meat dishes, whether in the form of a Bengali goat curry or a proper Delhi butter chicken. The tandoor is also used to good effect, particularly with the lamb chops. While you ponder over what to order, get some of the very moreish okra fries – they go great with a beer. The place has a dark and moody urban vibe; there are high tables, low sofas, booths and a large bar; and there’s even an auto rickshaw by reception.
