Sausage Tree Safari Camp is situated in the Olifant's West Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park area. The camps features a deck with outdoor pool, offering views of the African bush and an active waterhole. The camp features African-style tents. Each comes with a wooden deck, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower. They overlook a dry river bed, the bush and the Northern Drakensberg Mountains. Sausage Tree Safari Camp offers two minimum 3 hour safari drives daily in an open vehicle, covering 3500 hectares of traversing within our Greater Kruger Big 5 area, including 4km's alongside the Olifants River. One game drive takes place in the morning with a coffee break and the second drive leaves in the late afternoon and includes sundowner snacks. Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck and dinner is mostly served around the fire at the traditional boma. There is also a well-stocked bar. Your stay includes three meals daily along with hot drinks. Bar drinks & staff tipping are extra and there is a once off conservation fee/ vehicle fee payable by card on entry at the game reserve. Hoedspruit Airport is a 45-minute drive from the camp, if requested we can organise airport transfers against an extra cost.
