Nestled among the Cheverny vineyards in the heart of the Loire Valley, close to Chambord, Blois, Chaumont sur Loire and Beauval, Troussay's guest rooms are an invitation to a unique, rejuvenating experience; you step out of your comfort zone and into the atmosphere of bygone days, a common room invites you to share breakfast in youth hostel style; for older guests too. 4 very unusual guest rooms with a simple continental breakfast of self-service brioches, coffee, teas, butter, milk, jams, cereals, fruit juices and two independent gîtes; one for 4/5 people, and the other as a gîte for 2 without breakfast. Recycling and ecology Our commitment to the planet is reflected in every detail, elements such as building materials (including bathrooms hidden behind a curtain in every room0 have been recycled and bargain-hunted with a view to non-consumption and degrowth, and with an eco-conscious and sustainable character. The furniture is non-matching; inherited from flea market places, it offers an authentic and unique cachet; each room is imbued with the soul of the place; the owners being very attached to this notion of intangible heritage and tradition. Resources The gîtes' extensive gardens, each measuring 1000 m2, invite you to relax and enjoy. Practical access To facilitate your arrival and your stay, we have set up a dematerialized reception, allowing free access to and departure from the guest rooms and gîtes, as well as an independent breakfast. Arrival is recommended between 4 and 5 pm and 6 pm, and pets are welcome.
