Vigo: De plaats ontdekken

Vigo, the white town, is beautiful. Surrounded by parks and pinewoods, it spreads out in an amphitheatre around the bay sheltered from winds from the open sea. Fishermen and sailors, who made it the country's premier fishing port and a famous starting point for transatlantic voyages, still live in the old district of Berbés. It would be a shame not to stroll through it - it would be like missing a sunset from the top of the El Castro hill, the view from which is incomparable.
