Valladolid: De plaats ontdekken

Home of the itinerant court of Castile, Valladolid built very beautiful monuments in the 15C and 16C and developed a school of sculpture renowned throughout the Iberian Peninsula. Seeing its churches and palaces, some in Isabelline style, some in the style of Herrera or plateresque, the entire history of architecture up to the Renaissance springs to life. Valladolid today is an industrial metropolis, enlivened by its University and the lavish processions of Holy Week.
