Reggio di Calabria: De plaats ontdekken

Reggio lies along the Straits of Messina and is a modern town as it was completely rebuilt after the devastating 1908 earthquake. The busy harbour provides sea services to Sicily and Reggio's surrounding area produces citrus fruit, flowers for the perfume industry and nearly half the world production of bergamot. Visitors should take the time to see the famous Riace Warriors housed in the Archeological Museum.
