Cagliari: De plaats ontdekken

At the origin of the Carthaginian domination, Karalis was a flourishing town. It became roman, the capital of Sardinia.
The fortifications built in the 13^{eth C still surround the historic centre of the town. They bear witness to a past alongside the modern town, with a very well-used port that you can discover from above on the Terazza Umberto I.
Cagliari is also the stage for one of the most fantastic festivals in Italy, Sant'Efisio's day, the Patron Saint of the island.
