De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
These 2.5km-long caves, accessible via a small lake fed by an underground river, are set in a magnificent natural amphitheatre in the Alburni. Inhabited as early as Neolithic times, the caves are home to some fine concretions, most of which are sodium bicarbonate; the Sala delle Spugne (hall of sponges) is particularly fascinating.
