From this parapet walk, visitors see the back of the Cathedral of Santa María and the fortifications below the perimeter walls. The ronda leads to the Baluarte del Redín bastion (1540) now surrounded by gardens. Below and to the left can be seen the fortified Zumalacárregui Gate and part of the walls. On the town side, at the foot of the ramparts, is the the façade of the 18C Arzobispal Palace. Views over the looping River Arga, the Magdalena quarter and distant Mt Cristóbal.
